My name is Joseph Ryan and I am an archaeology student in Japan. This site serves as an aggregator of archaeological news from Japan, but I will also post links of interest and attempt to keep abreast of pertinent history-related book releases.

Posts have also been sorted by historical period and can be accessed through the “Archaeology News” tab. Each article will have a corresponding marker (and link) on the interactive map.
